Applying Wall Decals
|
Freshly painted walls should be avoided, especially those with a gloss or semi-gloss finish. (These paints tend to have surface agents that reduce bond.) A minimum of 30 days cure time should be given to newly painted wall surfaces. Also, please be aware that some paints are formulated with "dirt repellant" which contains permanent additives that may affect adhesive bond.
Be sure that the decal has been lying flat for at least 24 hours. It should not be curling up from being in a shipping tube.
Once the wall is clean and dry, simply peel and stick. You can use a felt squeegee to be sure all air bubbles are out. If you do not have a special felt squeegee, be sure to put a cloth over the plastic so as not to scratch the ink.
Note - If you want to move the decal to other location, save the backing paper.
