Adding Graphics To Used Cars
By Frank S.
Washington and Cliff Banks, Ward's
Dealer Business, Dec 1, 2003
Dealers have got to do
something to make used cars more
attractive in the wake zero
percent financing and hefty cash
rebates on new cars. Accessorizing
used cars and trucks is one
answer.
Beau Boeckmann, vice president of
Galpin Motors, Inc., owner of
eight Southern California new-car
franchises including Galpin Ford,
the No 1 volume Ford dealer says
customized used vehicles push
customers' hot buttons, provide
higher gross profits and can't be
crossed shopped.
Statistics
indicate more dealers are
accessorizing used vehicles to
increase gross margins and to move
them off the lot.
Accessorizing
doesn’t have to mean spending a
lot of money. Add a sleek vinyl
pinstriping to a sedan, a funky
tribal decal to that yellow
sportscar or a patriotic see
through rear window graphic to
that sharp red pick up. These
options can all cost under $100 at
http://www.CustomVinylGraphics.com
and are extremely easy to apply.
